Great Price RAM RAM-B-149Z-GA12U for $28.79

RAM Mounting Systems RAM-B-149Z-GA12U Handlebar Mount for Garmin Astro 220, GPS 60, GPSMAP 60, 60C, 60CS, 60CX, 60CSx Review

Bolted it right to the handle bars of my dual sport motorcycle. Some people are saying it doesn't bolt tight enough but I immediately did 2500 miles of Continental Divide off-road the two weeks after receiving this product and I had absolutely no problem with using just the hardware I received in the box. I am also at a loss as to why people seem to think it is hard to remove the GPS unit from the cradle. I had no problems popping it in and out and after being hugely rough on it the unit never once seemed like it was close to falling out. Make sure you screw the connector nub piece in place. It is probably residing inside your belt clip that came with your 60csx at the moment. Great product works flawlessly as advertised in my opinion. Hope this helps.

I own two of the mounts. One is on my 4 wheeler and the second is mounted on my solo tripping canoe thwart. Love the adjustability and robust design. I would like for them to spend a little more time cleaning up the flashing (excess material formed at the edges of the injection mold) but that's just nit picking. I also own a Garmin mount and while it does an OK job, there is no way it will take the beating that the ram mount can absorb without failure. It gets mounted on the dashboard of my truck.

Quality product, just no instructions - J. Price - Cortez, CO USA
I mounted the RAM mounting system on my Arctic Cat TRV. I ran some trails today to see the fall foliage on well known trails, so I did not place my Garmin 60CSx in the mount. Went through some pretty rough parts and the mount did not budge!

Cons - 1. Could use some instructions. Easy enough to figure out, but I just feel better having instruction.
2. Could use a small piece of rubber to wrap around the handlebar - like a bicycle light has with it.

Pros - 1. All around great quality mount.

Good product, but could use one more item... - M. Ludlum - Florida
This product, once installed and tightened, does a great job on the trail.

My only complaint is that I wish they'd ship it with a proper 8-32 screw with a washer.

I had a spare screw and made washer out of some aluminum shims. With that, I am able to keep my csx60 in it's protective case and keep it nice a secure on the stand.

It's a bit of a tight fit to get the screw into the threads, but it's worth it to keep the GPS unit protected.

It's the best of both products really.

Tough but a bit bulky; instruction sheet needs work - Daniel E Rabin -
I broke two of the Garmin-made mounts, and the reviews of this one seemed promising. The mount seems very tough so far: not once has the device bounced out of the cradle, and the ball-and-socket-based flexibility system stays in position even while riding on bumpy gravel paths. I have only two quibbles so far: 1. it's kind of big. 2. the instructions are minimal. It wasn't hard for me to figure out what to do, but there's no explanation of how to position the lower plastic gripping piece in the U-bolt, or of the fact that the caps go over the bolt ends, or of how to anticipate needing the larger of the two supplied U-bolts.
